SRRC's Special Services

GIS Mapping

Our GIS services are available for custom mapping projects on a fee-for-service-basis.

For locations in and around the Salmon River watershed, custom maps can include:

• 3D relief
• Color digital aerial photos (2005 series)
• New & historical (back to 1944) aerial photos
• Property boundaries & ownership
• Rivers, streams, springs, & hydrologic features
• Campgrounds, trails, & recreational features
• Roads
• Towns
• Location of managed stands (federal)
• Historical fires & fire start locations
• Much more

We have a GPS unit with accuracy to less than one meter. Our trained technicians can help map anything you need, from your property boundary to water line locations, or even mapping for various events.

GPS & GIS Training

We provide individual or group training for GPS and GIS, as well as GIS analysis for planning purposes. Our watershed center features the latest in GIS technology.

Biological Assessment and Archaeology Reports

We now have the capability to produce complete Biological Assessment and Archaeology Reports. Contact us for details and prices on a complete mapping and reporting package.
